Oh Nugget...

There are so many things I want for you...

I want you to be a smart little cookie, without being a know-it-all :)

I want you to love and care for animals and people, but I don't want you to be sad when you can't "fix" everything and everyone. The part that you do will be enough, and I want you to be proud of yourself for that.

I want you to be stronger and more driven than me. If you want to be a doctor, BE a doctor! I will do everything I can to help you get there. I want you to fearlessly chase after your dreams. But, you know what? If you'd rather be a writer or a painter or even a dog walker...I will love you just the same! The most important thing you'll ever be to me is my child.

I want you to be able to stand up for yourself when others criticize you or tell you that you can't do something. I will always be right there reminding you how intelligent, beautiful, and capable you are!

I want you to have a deep appreciation for nature. I want you to always enjoy it and protect it. 

Above all, and what is most important to me, is that you're a happy person. I want you to be in love with life. I want you to wake up in the morning ready for an adventure. I don't want you to be afraid of the unknown or things that are different. I want you to thirst for knowledge and to exude love, kindness, and generosity.
